The Silk Road became the vehicle of Buddhist missionaries and the means of introducing Buddhism into China. It was these Buddhist monks that introduced incense into China, and with it created another commodity to be traded along the route – incense ingredients such as Sandalwood, Agarwood, Frankincense, and Myrrh.
Syukohkoku contains the highest grade and content of fine agarwood of all the main lines of Baieido incense. A special blend of preimum agarwood, sandalwood, and Baieido's secret receipe of Chinese herbs and spices.
